My Background

I have been working as an Administrative Assistant since 2011. My career started in the banking industry where I eventually became the Executive Assistant to the President of the bank. I wore many hats in that role, from basic administrative tasks to Treasury Management services, event planning, Human Resources and contracts.

In 2017 I moved from my home state of Oklahoma to Florida where I worked for the director of a non profit organization in the child welfare sector. I really spread my wings in this role – learning and developing more expertise in the operations field. I launched the organization’s first ever Duck Derby fundraiser and grew their social media presence. I also revamped the organization’s fleet management program – creating training, policies and procedures that supported this program’s success.

In early 2019 my family and I moved to Arizona where I worked for a manufacturing company as the Executive Assistant to the CEO. In this role, I broadened my knowledge of Human Resources and learned that I was great at supporting the hiring and onboarding of new employees.

By the end of 2019 I decided to apply my talents virtually and began working as a contractor. In 2021 I started my own virtual assistant company and began partnering with companies and individuals in the Human Resources industry. I was introduced to The People Side by one of their team members and now enjoy working part-time as their Operations Specialist.
