My Background

I am an experienced Global HR Leader with a 23-year career that has spanned Compensation, Benefits, HR Strategy, HR Business Partner and Leadership Development. I have had the privilege to work in not-for-profit healthcare, as well as in Fortune 500 Companies like GE and Boeing. I am excited to apply my deep expertise and consulting services through The People Side.

After graduating from Iowa State University with a degree in Communications, I started my career in Kansas City, Missouri in Compensation and Benefits for a local healthcare system. This is where I first found my love of developing an organization’s strong operational framework, financials and data analysis! After completing my MBA at night, I knew I wanted to try out the corporate world and was grateful for the experience to join GE’s HR Leadership Program. That experience led to a 13-year career and the opportunity to grow my skillsets as a HR Strategist and Business Partner and discover my passion for coaching and developing employees and teams. It was this passion that led me into Learning & Development in 2010. I deepened my expertise in L&D as a part of the GE Crotonville Learning Team. My work at Crotonville focused on learning transformation, operational excellence and learning delivery. In 2017 I joined The Boeing Company as a key leader in a massive learning transformation for this iconic company in the Aerospace Industry.

I am known for thinking broadly across an organization, engaging stakeholders to drive and deliver on strategy and boundary-less collaboration and teaming. I understand how to transform learning organizations and align critical opportunities for development into a development strategy that drives business outcomes.
