More About Me
Two weeks after college graduation I moved to Washington, DC (sight unseen!) to work on Capitol Hill. I later transitioned to The White House, where my love of organizational management was ignited. As a young White House staffer, I coordinated logistical matters for the Vice President’s domestic and international travel and events. It was demanding, high-impact work with little room for error. I thrived in that environment, and had the experience of a lifetime traveling the world and honing my skills with some of the top logistical professionals in the field.
My experience later took me to the U.S. Chamber of Commerce, where I designed and directed large-scale, multi-day conferences for the American Chambers of Commerce in Latin America and the Caribbean, by hosting seven current and former Heads of State.
Of course, my greatest logistical challenge—and pleasure—has been my three children. After a few years spent raising them, my network and organizational skills called me back into the consulting world, working to deliver top-notch leadership development programs to clients at Mortenson and now at The People Side.
When I’m Not Working …
I live in Alexandria, Virginia with my husband of fifteen years and three children, Robbie, Kyle, and Tessa. Our nights and weekends are spent on the ballfields and in dance studios, but we wouldn’t have it any other way. When we aren’t chasing our kids around, we love hanging out at home with our two dogs and two guinea pigs. I cherish our yearly beach vacations with extended family, watching Kentucky basketball, Bengals football, and walking along the neighborhood trail listening to Audible.
